Please note when using the postcode for directions, it takes you to the village of Hopton Castle about two miles short of the house.
To find Great Hagley, proceed through Hopton Castle, once through the village, after less than half a mile turn left at the green Forestry Commission sign for Hopton. Proceed along this track, keeping straight ahead past the forestry car park on your right. Stay on the track and proceed between 2 wooden posts with no cycling symbols. Continue along this farm track and you will arrive at Great Hagley.

From the South
Take the A49 from Ludlow, turning left at Bromfield towards Leintwardine.
Continue for approximately 5.5 miles, passing The Jolly Frog restaurant on the right.
Take the next turning on the right, signed Clungunford and then right again at the T-junction. At the next sharp right hand bend, turn left signposted Hopton Heath, continue to the ‘T’ junction and then turn right.
Proceed into the small hamlet of Hopton Heath on your left, bear left over the railway bridge and then left again immediately, signed Hopton Castle.
Continue along the lane through Hopton Castle, once through the village, after less than half a mile turn left at the green Forestry Commission sign for Hopton.
Proceed along this track, keeping straight ahead past the forestry car park on your right. Stay on the track and proceed between 2 wooden posts with no cycling symbols. Continue along this farm track and you will arrive at Great Hagley.
From the North
Take the A49 south to Craven Arms.
In Craven Arms take the B4368 towards Clun, after about 2 miles in the village of Long Meadow End, take a left turning to Clungunford and Bedstone.
Stay on this road through Clungunford taking the sharp bend round to the right towards Hopton Heath.
As you come into Hopton Heath take the first right turning and go over the railway bridge. Bear immediately left after the bridge sign posted Hopton Castle.
Continue along the lane through Hopton Castle, once through the village, after less than half a mile turn left at the green Forestry Commission sign for Hopton.
Proceed along this track, keeping straight ahead past the forestry car park on your right. Stay on the track and proceed between 2 wooden posts with no cycling symbols. Continue along this farm track and you will arrive at Great Hagley.
